Meet Taku Ekanayake, our Sydney-based, award-winning Mortgage Broker, Director, and Founder of Kin Financial.
Taku, an active property investor and award-winning mortgage broker, embarked on his property investing journey at the age of 26 while working in corporate sales and driving for Uber on the side. In just two years, he acquired six properties by employing a strategy that involved renovations and leveraging equity within each property for subsequent purchases.
Through this rapid accumulation of properties, Taku recognised the significance of implementing a sound finance strategy. It became evident that having the ability to access equity easily and maximise borrowing capacity was crucial for growing a property portfolio. With this realisation, Taku made the decision to leave his corporate sales job and establish Kin Financial, a mortgage brokerage dedicated to assisting other investors in implementing effective finance strategies to generate wealth and attain financial freedom.
During his leisure time, Taku can often be found honing his boxing technique at the gym during the day. In the evenings, he indulges his passion for food by exploring new bars and restaurants around town.
